Soarin’ Across America Opening Date
Disney previously shared that a new version of Soarin’ would be coming to Disneyland and Disney World as part of their celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The new Soarin’ Across America will take guests on a journey across the United States, highlighting some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes.

Disney has now shared that Soarin’ Across America will open at the Disneyland Resort on July 2, 2026. This is two days before the 4th of July celebration at the resort, which will feature expanded offerings this year. “Our goal was to offer guests a sampling of the diversity of America’s beauty and urban wonders with the hope it would paint an emotional portrait for the nation’s Semi-quincentennial celebration,” said Tom Fitzgerald, Portfolio Executive Creative Director and Chief Storytelling Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering.
We are assuming, based on the concept art and sneak peeks shared, that the ride will feature the Statue of Liberty in New York, the bayou outside New Orleans, and a mountain setting that some have said looks like Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Millennium Falcon New Storyline Opening
A new mission will be coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Galaxy’s Edge starting May 22, 2026.
While this piece of information was previously announced, Disneyland clarified the context in which this new ride will debut. This year, it appears that there will not be a Season of the Force celebration. Instead, Disney shared that there will be more news about Star Wars experiences coming soon.
This change makes sense, as Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration is continuing in 2026, and they would have had to shift back the Season of the Force celebration by a couple of weeks to align with the opening of the Millennium Falcon ride. It seems like there will still be special Star Wars offerings during this time, but they won’t be in the context of a full celebration as they have been in the past.
The new storyline, centered around “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” will take guests to iconic destinations throughout the Star Wars universe and introduce enhanced gameplay for the Engineer role. You can see all the details about the changes coming in our article here.
Hyperspace Mountain Opening

On a related note, Disneyland shared that Hyperspace Mountain will be returning for a limited time beginning April 28. In this Star Wars-themed version of the ride, you are plunged into a space battle where you navigate crossfire from Rebel X-wing starfighters and Imperial TIE fighters.
We do not yet know how long this overlay will last. Previously, it ran throughout the duration of the Season of the Force celebration at Disneyland. We are assuming that it will run for at least a month so as to include the date that the Millennium Falcon debuts its new storyline.
New Bluey Experience Opening Date
Disneyland has revealed a new family-friendly show that will be opening at the Fantasyland Theatre in 2026! “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!”, inspired by the Bluey Disney+ series, will transform Fantasyland Theatre into the grounds of Bluey’s school. The show will debut on March 22, 2026, and continue through the year.
During the day, Bluey and her sister Bingo will appear live on stage, along with a group of comedic actors and musicians. The show will highlight the popular music and games of the Bluey episodes. Disney shares that offerings will feature “entertaining live musical show moments that seamlessly segue into iconic games like Keepy Uppy, to interactive adventures in a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden.”
Guests will be able to step into the fair at Bluey’s school with the Grannies, Chattermax, Unicorse puppets, and enjoy themed foods at Troubadour Tavern that are inspired by the series. See all the details on Bluey coming to Disneyland, Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line.
