There are several exciting new rides and experiences currently in development for Disney World, and one of these attractions is getting ready to open! New Zootopia Show Opening at Animal Kingdom
A new Zootopia show is about to open at Animal Kingdom that replaces the former “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” show at the Tree of Life Theater. The show, called “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” will open to all guests on Friday, November 7, 2025. Ahead of the show’s opening, we wanted to share a first look at the theming in the queue from previews. You can see all of the preview information for the show in our separate article here.

The show will center around “Zoogether Day,” which is described as “a celebration of unity amongst the diverse biomes across the city,” featuring a variety of performances from the various biomes seen from a live-streamed watch party. There will be like ice-skating spectaculars from Tundratown, synchronized swimming from Marsh Market, tiny mouse drone shows from Little Rodentia, and a finale of Gazelle’s live concert, where she sings “Try Everything.”
The show will feature familiar Zootopia characters, including Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and Benjamin Clawhauser, as well as the new wolf host, Heidi Howler. You can see Clawhauser’s Audio-Animatronics figure in the image above. Disney shared that Clawhauser really wants to be chosen as the V.I.Z. (“Very Important Zootopian,” who gets to enjoy special access to the Zoogether Day performers), and when he does not get chosen, he takes matters into his own hands.
There will be some new effects in the show, including a new scent and “CarrotVision 3D glasses.”
There are some fun details in the lobby! You’ll find this “Pawdora” (Pandora) jewelry display.
You’ll also find this corkboard with lots of fun details and Zootopia ads in the queue!

Along with the show, a new character meet-and-greet featuring Nick and Judy in their Zootopia 2 outfits will debut this week near the Tree of Life at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot.
