Disney popcorn buckets continue to increase in popularity at the theme parks and movie theaters. We’ve seen many iconic popcorn buckets this year, including this sneak preview of eight new Disney popcorn buckets coming soon.
The release of TRON: Ares has also revealed more popcorn buckets and novelties coming soon to theaters to celebrate the film. The news also comes after Walt Disney World announced changes to their TRON attraction to be themed to the new movie which we detail below.

TRON: Ares Popcorn Buckets
Disney is getting ready to release TRON: Ares on October 10, 2025 and has a number of different TRON popcorn buckets and novelties ready for theater-goers. The movie follows the events of TRON: Legacy and for the first time brings programs into the real human world. The movie stars Jared Leto playing Ares, a sophisticated program that is sent from the digital world to the real world on a mission. The movie explores the battle between two companies over super digital intelligence in the real world. The movie will have a new soundtrack created by the band Nine Inch Nails.
Cinemark revealed on their social media the popcorn buckets and novelties coming soon to theaters for the movie’s release on October 10, 2025. Pictured above is the 3D TRON: Ares Lightcycle Popcorn Bucket, which will likely retail for around $50. Also featured are cups and a popcorn tub, which will also likely be offered at other theater chains.

Regal Cinema will offer the TRON Arcade Container, which is exclusive to Regal.
And of course, Regal Cinema will also offer the Lightcycle popcorn bucket. This one looks so cool!
AMC is offering a collectible Lightcycle keychain when you get tickets to see the film in Dolby Cinema at AMC on 10/12. While supplies last.
AMC will also sell the TRON popcorn tub and likely some of the same cups Cinemark is offering. I wouldn’t be surprised to see more offerings from AMC revealed soon, as we learn more about the TRON popcorn buckets and novelties.
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is offering a limited edition pint glass you can preorder with your tickets, while supplies last.

TRON is a popular franchise, so it’s not surprising to see the theaters go all out with the popcorn buckets and novelties! Walt Disney World is celebrating the film’s release with a special overlay and the addition of the musical score by Nine Inch Nails to the TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction.
