Disneyland’s 70th Celebration kicks off this week with a huge entertainment lineup, new merchandise offerings, and over 70 new food and novelty items like popcorn buckets.

One of these new popcorn buckets is a bit… terrifying. You have to see this talking and moving Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket and why it comes across a bit spooky.

New Mickey Mouse Popcorn Bucket Giving Horror Movie Vibes

The new Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket releasing Friday, May 16, for the Disneyland 70th Celebration has a terrifying new feature which you can see in the Reel released from Disney below. The Mickey Mouse Disneyland 70th celebration popcorn bucket moves its head side to side, blinks, and talks. Some catchphrases include, “Hiya I’m Mickey!” and “Let’s celebrate!” While we’ve seen popcorn buckets that make noise before, this is an interesting turn of events (of the head?) to see an animated popcorn bucket figure.

Since this Micky Mouse popcorn bucket is going to be so widely available, there could be a good chance Disneyland will have enough stock to ensure guests can get one before resellers grab them all. The price of this popcorn bucket is an astounding $51.99 which is an extremely high price for a novelty item.

However, since this bucket is like having your own little animated Mickey Mouse, that price is likely a bit justified when comparing it to other Disneyland popcorn buckets.
