Disney Planning Special Celebration for New Cruise Announcement
Disney Cruise Line revealed a special event that will give fans a closer look at what’s coming to its newest ship while also celebrating the stories that inspired it. The Disney Believe is the newest ship in the fleet and the fourth ship in the Wish class. This new ship is set to debut in 2027 and will feature new dining, entertainment, and lounges inspired by Disney stories.
The Wish-class ships feature their own unique design themes that shape the experiences, décor, and entertainment. The sister ships of the Disney Believe include the enchantment-themed Disney Wish, adventure-themed Disney Treasure, and heroes and heroes-and-villains-themed Disney Destiny. A future ship sailing from Tokyo will also belong to the Wish class.

Disney has said that the overall theme of the Disney Believe is “promise and possibilities” as it celebrates characters who dare to dream and believe in themselves. Newly revealed teaser artwork, above, includes Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, Elsa from Frozen, and Mirabel from Encanto.
Disney has revealed that guests can tune in for a special livestream on October 7, 2026, at 4:30 PM ET, when new details about Disney Believe will be revealed. This includes the ship’s homeport, itineraries, and entertainment.
Viewers can watch from home on Disney Parks’ YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok channels. For guests who want to be even closer to the action of this new announcement, Disney Cruise Line sent out emails announcing that guests sailing aboard the Disney Wish on the October 5-9 sailing will be included in the celebration. The 4-night sailing is a Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian cruise departing from Port Canaveral, with October 7 being the same day that the ship is docked at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
The celebration of the Disney Believe reveal will include a one-night stage show showcasing the new experiences coming to Disney Believe. The “Broadway Star Series” performance will feature Disney Legend Susan Egan and other Broadway stars who will “bring the spirit of the new ship to life” through the stories and music that have inspired its onboard spaces. Each stateroom on the cruise will also receive a commemorative gift to mark the special occasion.

Last month, Disney revealed a few small tidbits about the Disney Believe.
The ship’s atrium statue will depict Moana, a first for Disney Cruise Line. Pua the pig and Heihei the chicken will be there, too.
Each Disney Cruise Line ship features an illustration on its bow. The Believe will feature Tinker Bell.
Each ship also has unique character sculptures on its stern. For the Believe, Buzz and Woody will appear to draw the ship’s name, surrounded by the signature clouds from Andy’s room.
