According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, deputies responded to a disturbance involving Holton and a Disney security manager. The report alleges that Holton was engaged in a verbal altercation with a Disney security manager when deputies arrived. The report states that Holton was causing a disturbance and yelling in a public area, that Disney security issued a trespass warning after they requested she leave the property, and that she refused to leave. Deputies then attempted to detain her, which she allegedly resisted.

Holton was then arrested and charged with trespass after warning, disorderly intoxication, and resisting an officer without violence. She was transported to the Orange County Jail, where the report alleges she was “uncooperative” during the booking process.

Holton filed a lawsuit that tells a different timeline of events. In her affidavit, Holton wrote that she “began experiencing confusion, weakness, and overheating,” and repeatedly asked staff to call 911. The lawsuit alleges that she repeatedly requested medical assistance, was denied care by cast members and law enforcement, and that cast members mocked or minimized her condition. Further allegations outlined in Holton’s affidavit state that she was prevented from leaving to seek medical help on her own, that officers used force during her arrest, and that she was placed in a patrol vehicle without adequate cooling while experiencing medical distress.

The lawsuit also states allegations about her time at Orange County Jail, in which Holton alleges she was “denied water and medical attention” while in custody. Further allegations include the use of force by correctional staff and being held without proper clothing or access to basic needs.

The lawsuit seeks $50,000 in damages per count, along with punitive damages and injunctive relief, and alleges that the incident report was falsified, while Holton further claims there is an ongoing internal affairs investigation.
