We Tried These 7 New Disneyland Halloween Foods. Here Are My Favorite Ones.

We were hosted by Disney for the first day of Halloween at Disneyland and had the opportunity to try many of these new Halloween foods! We really enjoyed all of these and will share our thoughts on the best ones and our overall thoughts on the Halloween offerings.

Strawberry Pie-filled Beignet

The first item we tried was the Strawberry Pie-filled Beignet from Tiana’s Palace, which has a strawberry cream filling and is topped with strawberry glaze. The beignet has a nice, tart glaze on the outside. The interior is creamy and not super overpowering in its strawberry flavor.

Pumpkin King Cold Brew

Another new item we tried was the Pumpkin King Cold Brew from Royal Street Veranda, a Joffrey’s Pumpkin Creme Brûlée Cold Brew, with pumpkin spiced creamer, toffee chips, and Jack Skellington décor Crème brûlée.

2

Monstropolis Float

Next, we tried the Monstropolis Float, an Ube-dusted DOLE Whip with Pineapple and Mango with passion fruit coconut juice and lychee fruit. This is so cute, and I’m sure this will be a popular treat based on that alone!

3

Boo-gogi Toasted Sandwich with Corn Cheese Soup

Another item we tried was the Boo-gogi Toasted Sandwich with Corn Cheese Soup from Jolly Holiday. The sandwich contained marinated beef, grilled onion, mozzarella, and kimchi aïoli on sourdough and was served with corn cheese soup. This does not photograph very well, but it was hands-down my favorite out of everything I tried!

4

Candy Corn Float

Next, we tried the Candy Corn Float from Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream. This consisted of Fanta Orange with mango sorbet and whipped cream. The float was refreshing, and it was fun to see the different colors swirling together.

5

Fantasyland Garlic Cheesy Brat

We tried the Fantasyland Garlic Cheesy Brat from Edelweiss Snacks, a Bratwurst in a cheesy garlic pretzel bread. This is a perfect, satisfying afternoon snack and the addition of the Bratwurst to this favorite offering takes it to the next level.

6

Chile Verde Chicken Flautas

For Plaza de La Familia in Disney California Adventure, we tried the Chile Verde Chicken Flautas from Paradise Garden Grill. These were topped with avocado spread, shredded lettuce, crema, queso fresco, tomatillo salsa, and pickled onions served with Spanish rice and refried beans topped with nopales pico de gallo.
