You can never outgrow the Happiest Place on Earth. Teens love Disneyland as much as younger kids.  Here are some fun rides and attractions that teens love at Disneyland for the different lands. We've also included restaurants and shops that teens enjoy as well as some tips on Fast Passes!

Tomorrowland A group of teens ride Space Mountain

This futuristic land some two of the best thrill rides that teens love in Space Mountain and Star ToursSpace Mountain is a speeding ride in a sleek rocket-shaped vehicle where you whiz past starts and celestial satellites.

Star Tours – The Adventure Continues is a 3D, motion-simulated space flight aboard a Starspeeder 1000. On this thrilling ride you will meet Star Wars characters, such as Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron, BB-8, R2-D2 and C-3PO. The space cruiser is intercepted by First Order forces, and you might even be selected as the rebel spy!  Teens love these rides so much that Fast Passes will sell out on busy days.  Grab a fast pass for these early in the day.

Teens can meet Star Wars characters in Launch Bay in Disneyland, including Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, Rey, and Bobo Fett. You might also catch a glimpse of Stormtroopers patrolling Tomorrowland!

Matterhorn Bobsleds is a 6-person sled that climbs 80 feet high inside an icy cave and then races down the Swiss mountain.  As you speed through caves and over rocky ledges, you’ll catch a glimpse of the Abominable Snowman who lives inside the mountain.  This ride offers a single-rider line and now also offers Fast Passes.

Other Fantasy Land rides that teens still enjoy include Snow White's Enchanted Wish, Peter Pan's Flight, Alice in Wonderland, and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

There are two fun rides in Toon Town that even older kids will still enjoy. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin features the silly characters from the movie, including Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, and the wily Weasels.  You will hop into a “toon” taxicab that you can steer 360 degrees as you follow Roger Rabbit and Benny the Cab in a hilarious chase.

Gadget's Go Coaster is a minute-long ride on an “acorn train” that speeds up to 22 mph through an oversized comb, soup can and spool of thread.

FrontierlandThe Big Thunder Mountain Railroad train comes around a thrilling bend

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, or the wildest ride in the wilderness, is a favorite among teens. Teens board a runaway mine train and speed through a legendary gold-mining town. This ride will take you through tunnels, canyons and caves inside an abandoned mine shaft, past a waterfall, and ending at the ghost town of Big Thunder.  This ride has Fast Passes that don’t usually run out until evening time on busy days.

Indiana Jones™ Adventure is a favorite among teens. On this ride, teens will board 12-person troop transport on a journey through the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Teens will be driven over lava in the Cavern of Bubbling Death, drive past screaming undead mummies, and narrowly escape a collapsing bridge. And yes… snakes, there had to be snakes.  Lots of them.  Along with swarms of insects and a massive boulder.  Fast Passes are available for this attraction, and they tend to run out on busier days.  This ride does offer a single-rider option as well.

New Orleans SquareDangling from a dog's mouth is the key that would free jailed pirates of the Caribbean

The Haunted Mansion is a favorite any time of the year. Teens will board a gloomy Doom Buggy for a frightful tour of the mansion which 999 unearthly specters, including the Ghost Host, Madame Leota, and Hitchhiking Ghosts.  During the holiday season, the cast of Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas haunts the house.  Drag your bodies to see Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, and the Oogie Boogie as they take over the Haunted Mansion. The mansion is decorated for Christmas with presents, snow, and hitchhiking presents in your buggy as you exit.

Even though it’s not a thrill ride, Pirates of the Caribbean is a favorite among teens.  Teens will board a small barge, float past the Blue Bayou, and then plunge down a waterfall.  Those that come seeking adventure and salty pirates will sail past a Pirates Grotto, 12-gun galleon, burning city, and a dungeon. Be on the look out for Capital Jack Sparrow, Matey!

Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean are good options to ride during Fantasmic! and late at night before the park closes.

If you want to cool off or possibly get soaked, Splash Mountain will do the trick! This water ride has teens sitting in a hollow log that floats through a colorful bayou before they plunge down 49-foot waterfall drop! In warm weather, this ride will run out of Fast Passes.  This is another great attraction to go on late at night before the park closes

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Teens will love everything about Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge including the popular Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run ride where guests can fly the Millennium Falcon! Teens can also make reservations to build a lightsaber at Savi's Workshop which is an experience similar to that of Ollivander's at Universal Studios Hollywood. There's also plenty of great photo ops around the land making any Instagram loving teen happy.

There are some great restaurants that teens will enjoy.  Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square is one of the park’s most popular dining experiences.  The kids will love feeling like they’re part of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Depending on the season, you might need to book reservations in advance.  Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has great Mexican food and a fun, outdoor setting in Frontier Land.  Plaza Inn on Main Street has big portions and the best fried chicken ever.  For more quick and casual food, Tomorrowland has Alien Pizza Planet and Galactic Grill, where kids can order burgers and chicken bites.

Downtown Disney also has some great food options for teens.  Napolini, which is part of Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria, sells sandwiches and pizza by the slice.  The Taqueria at Tortilla Jo's sells burritos, tacos and bowls. Teens also love Jamba Juice and Starbucks, which can both be found in Downtown Disney.

The Star Trader in Tomorrowland has everything related to Star Wars.  Teens and tweens can browse a large assortment of Star Wars clothing, buy comic books, and build their own light saber.  There is another great Star Wars store in Launch Bay with some unique movie merchandise. The Gag Factory – Toontown Five & Dime is a fun shop to browse as well. The Disney Dress Shop in New Orleans Square has some fun skirts, dresses, and accessories that older girls will love. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge has an abundance of shops that teens will love including Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities, the Creature Stall, and more!

World of Disney in Downtown Disney is a massive store with clothing, toys, and souvenirs.  Kids can purchase t shirts, sweatshirts, key chains, mouse ears, and jewelry. The Lego Store has a wide assortment of Lego sets that even older builders will love.
